Autobahn was designed with safety in mind. That attitude has never changed. We are continually looking for ways to improve our safety systems, such as the belting added at turn 6 on the South Track as highlighted last week. This week we completed routine maintenance to keep everything performing as intended. The guardrail posts over time can get out of place, whether it be heaving from frost or by being hit by vehicles. On Tuesday we brought in a machine with a jackhammer attachment to get these posts back in optimum position. While we didn’t set any track record, this machine covered a lot of space working in areas on North and South tracks along with the kart track. We are committed to keeping Autobahn at the forefront of safety in motorsports.
