We’ve entered the next phase of construction as the installation of the underground infrastructure is now underway. The team at Concord Construction has been busy installing the drainage system that will efficiently move water away from the track and handle runoff from the new elevation changes.
Concrete, pipes, and stone… oh my!
While this may not be the most visually exciting phase of the project, it is certainly one of the most important. A well-designed drainage system is critical to creating a track that dries quickly and performs consistently after wet weather. In fact, some of the trackside drainage details are inspired directly from Formula 1, with drains positioned alongside the asphalt to help keep the racing surface as dry and raceable as possible.
We look forward to sharing more progress as the Drive to 2035 campaign continues to transform the future of Autobahn Country Club.
We sincerely thank our members for their continued patience and understanding as we complete this first phase of construction. As work progresses, we encourage everyone to regularly monitor the Member Communication Site and other Club communication channels for updates regarding track availability and schedule changes.
For everyone’s safety, we ask that members refrain from entering or exploring the construction area during non-operating hours. If you are interested in learning more about the project or would like a guided tour of the progress, please feel free to contact Mike Gritter at mike@autobahncc.com.
Thank you for your continued support as we build the future of Autobahn Country Club.
Sincerely,
Autobahn Country Club Management
