Connor Willis finishes his first season in the UK on a high! Recent back to back race weekends at two of the world’s largest Formula Ford races (Formula Ford Festival and Walter Hayes Trophy) with hundreds of competitors. Managing a win and a podium in early rounds, and finishing in the top ten of both grand finals; last race overtaking an impressive 19 cars.
Connor shares his thoughts, “This season has been an incredible adventure! First and foremost, I have to thank my parents — none of this would be possible without their constant love and support. I love them so much! I also want to thank my sponsors, family, and friends for keeping me motivated through this roller coaster of a journey. Graduating high school early and moving 4,000 miles across the world was a huge risk. I was nervous stepping into the unknown, but the experience taught me more than I could have ever imagined. I kicked off the season with some eye-catching results, thanks to my preparation at Autobahn Country Club. I trained every single day, pushing myself as hard as I could to reach the front — and it finally paid off! The pace we ended the season with shows just how far we’ve come. I couldn’t be happier with the team and everything we achieved together this year. Thank you all!”
