At the conclusion of the 2018 season work will begin on the south track near turns 5 and 6.
The guardrail on drivers right across from the corner station will be removed and the drain pipes it protects will be relocated.
This will also require many loads of dirt to be brought in so the ground can be reworked allowing for proper drainage.
Additionally, the curb at the exit of turn 5 will be extended both in width and length.
These improvements should be another step in our constant efforts to continually improve safety around the track.
