After a winning effort last week in their Trans Am Series program, Nitro Motorsports heads to Barber Motorsports Park this weekend for the second to last round in the Toyota GR Cup North America program. Taking a pair of drivers in Jackson Tovo and Jade Avedisian, the duo will aim high in Leeds, Alabama.
Working alongside the championship-leading Copeland Motorsports program in the newly announced alliance, Tovo and Avedisian are looking to reap the benefits of the partnership program.
“We only had one driver at the last race so coming with two to Barber will be a big help,” explains Nitro Motorsports team boss Nick Tucker. “With drivers able to work together both on and off the track, we hope that they will push one another to be better all while using data and support from our partner program.”
Tucker continued, “While we aim to finish 2024 strong, we are booking space and signing drivers for the 2025 season. If you are interested, be sure to contact us today!”
Nitro Motorsports drivers will hit Barber Motorsports Park for the standard three-day GR Cup North America weekend with a pair of practice sessions on Friday. Saturday will feature qualifying one and race one, while Sunday will see qualifying two and race two.
