The Autobahn Safety Team is very pleased to welcome Ken Zahara as the new Assistant Coordinator to work alongside Tom Sener.
Ken has been a member of the safety team for 9 years as well as having 21 years’ experience in Fire/EMS service with 5 different departments.
His college education includes Fire Science and Fire Service Management.
Ken has recently been promoted to Lieutenant in the West Chicago Fire Protection District of which he has been employed for 14 years.
He holds numerous Office of the State Fire Marshal of Illinois certifications including Advanced Auto Extrication Specialist and Hazardous Materials Technician.
Ken currently resides in Mokena with his wife Jennifer and two daughters Ava (3) and Grace (1).
Hobbies/interests include motorcycle riding, open wheel racing and alternative energy.
