Sonoma, Sears Point, CA. – May 2nd, 2021
As the 2nd racing weekend of Ferrari Challenge North America kicked off, Dave Musial Jr. took the podium, finishing 4th place in race 1, and 1st place in race 2 along with fastest lap! Thanks to Tony Kester’s quick thinking and years of data experience, Musial Jr. was set up with an amazing car that allowed him to take the overall win by 14.7 seconds, and beat his class by 18.9 seconds! While practicing, Tony stressed to the team engineer to “just trust me”. The team engineer was amazed, and expected a high tire temperatures with Tony’s changes, but as usual, Tony was 110% correct. Dave Sr. added more wins, finishing 5th on Saturday and 4th on Sunday.
