Back to the Podium for Dave Musial Jr!
As the 3rd racing weekend of Ferrari Challenge North America kicked off, Dave Musial Jr. returned to the podium finishing 1st place in race 1 on Saturday, as well as capturing pole and fastest lap. The next day Dave Jr. took 3rd place! On Saturday Dave Jr. dominated the race winning by 18.3 second margin and having the fastest lap in the race! Sunday brought rain on some parts of the track and dry on other parts causing most of the race to be run under a caution flag. Dave Jr. only had two laps at the end to try and pass the #1-2 position cars. It was a drag race at the end with Dave Jr. finishing 3rd and missing a 1st place podium by .300 of a second!
Dave Sr. was in second place on Saturday, but had an unfortunate incident during the last lap of the race in turn one, hitting the wall. He went on to take 4th in that race limping a very damaged car across the finish line. The next race Dave Sr. went on to a 3rd place podium finish on Sunday!
