Brandon Schwarz dominated at PittRace this past weekend, clinching first place in both races and extending his win streak in the Formula Race Promotions Atlantic Series!
Saturday started with a rough qualifying session—Brandon was knocked off track when he made contact with another driver, ending his session early and causing damage to the car. With only one timed lap on the books, he was slotted P4, but a grid penalty pushed him back two more spots. No excuses, no hesitation—the HAVOC crew had the car race-ready and Brandon, starting P6, carved through the Atlantic field with commanding pace and razor-sharp focus.
And the drama didn’t stop there—at the start of Saturday’s race, Brandon’s Ligier JS-F3 beat an unrestricted Swift 016 (running in a faster class) into Turn 1. For the opening lap, the Atlantic-class car led the entire field, holding off the more powerful Swift for the first lap in a thrilling show of grip, timing, and confidence.
Brandon’s impressive performance this weekend is a testament to his relentless drive and the meticulous preparation by the HAVOC Motorsport crew. HAVOC Team Principal, John Harkenrider added: “Brandon’s double win is a reflection of the work that goes on behind the scenes. From the engineers to the pit crew, and most of all Brandon’s relentless drive, this was a team victory. We’re thrilled to see the #SchwarzAttack paying off.” This weekend’s double victory is a clear indicator of the team’s growing momentum in the 2025 season.
