Autobahn member Mark Boden earned his second SCCA Runoffs National Championship of the day on Friday, doubling his career total in an eight-hour period and adding an SCCA Super Sweep with a Touring 2 win in the afternoon. Mark’s son Joe joined the champion on the podium. The Bodens, along with Pat Womack and Tom Herb, were among four Autobahn members finishing in the top five at Road America.
Kyle Greenhill started on pole position for the Spec Miata class and had a fantastic battle with his fellow competitors. An unfortunate pass knocked him out of the top spot but pole position is an amazing accomplishment.
Mike Origer took home 3rd place with his VW Scirocco in the H Production class.
Congratulations to our PCA racers as well. The SP3 Class’ top 5 national finishers are all Autobahn members. There’s a bunch of other members who also competed very well in their races and classes, yet again, proving we are some of the best drivers in the Country here at ABCC!!
