At his (other) home track of Road America, Alex Bertagnoli #172 finished 2nd in Race 1 in Spec MX-5 Challenge. The field of cars and drivers was exceptionally competitive! All the cars competing in Spec MX-5 are built by Advance Autosports from the third-generation Mazda MX-5. A step up from Spec Miata, Spec MX-5 features ABS, six speed transmission, and more horsepower than the SM class.
