The INDY NXT by Firestone series has tested at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Barber Motorsports Park, Sebring International Raceway, and has just wrapped up its last few days of off season testing this past week at Weather Tech Raceway Laguna Seca. Abel Motorsports driver Jordan Missig is poised for a good start to the season. “I’m really looking forward to getting this season started down at St Pete” Missig said. “I typically have been really good on street courses and I’m interested to see how the grip level of St.Pete will be when the Indy NXT cars take to the track for the first time. It’s going to be important to get a good result to start off the season to help build confidence in myself and in the team and set the tone for the rest of the season”. Missig has not been to St.Pete since 2023 in USF PRO 2000 but has Won and Podiumed the last 4/5 street course races he has been on, all coming north of the border on the Streets of Toronto.
The Firestone Grand Prix of St.Petersburg will take place from February 28th – March 2nd and you can catch the INDY NXT by Firestone Race on March 2nd 10am EST Live on FOX Sports 1.
