AEM Karting Micro Swift driver Easton Kubinski came into the Stars Championship Series weekend at Motorsports Country Club of Cincinnati third in the championship and still vying for his first national series main event victory. He left Motorsports Country Club with both his first main event victory and the championship points lead in the extremely competitive Micro Swift class. And he did it in the grittiest way possible – running a close second on the last lap, Easton got a great run and made a last corner pass on the driver who came into the weekend with the points lead! Congratulations Easton, great driving!
The final Stars Championship Series weekend will be September 12-14 at Trackhouse Motorplex in Mooresville, NC and can be watched on Kart Chaser’s YouTube channel.
Additionally, driving in the KA100 Senior class of the U.S. Pro Kart Series at Mill-Rite Raceway in Dousman, WI, Mick Gabriel dominated the weekend with 2 heat race wins and winning the main event. With the victory, Mick earned a spot in the IAME Eurocup in LeMans this October!
And in the KCA Karting Challenge, AEM Karting drivers Jakab Nyiri and Roni Sayrafi took the KA100 and Mini Swift victories respectively!
