12th Annual “Drive for 195 – Race to End Homelessness”

Jun 16, 2022 | Club Activities

The Drive for 195 (D4195) is a 4-hour team karting endurance race to benefit DuPagePads and its mission to end homelessness. Over the past eleven years, D4195 has incredibly raised over $1,150,000! Last year the three top teams finished on the same lap. There will be up to 16 teams competing in three different classes. Teams need to field at least 4 drivers but can have as many as 12.  The race start time is scheduled for 5:30pm on June 18th and continues into the evening under the lights.  As in the past, all teams will rotate karts throughout the race to minimize the impact of equipment differences. This year the race will feature KCA’s new fleet of karts!

The entry fee is $1,000 to reserve your D4195 team kart and choose your team color and every team needs to set their minimum fundraising goal to at least $5,000 or even more. This is a super fun event for racers and spectators. No karting experience is necessary for the Rookie class. Many corporate teams in the past enjoyed the teambuilding aspect. With only a few team slots still available, act now to get your team together!  Go to https://runsignup.com/Race/IL/Joliet/D4195 to register today.
