Autobahn Country Club member Mike D’Ambrose put together an impressive 2026 Radical Cup North America campaign, earning eight race victories, 10 pole positions, and a runner-up finish in the Pro 1340 Championship.

Competing with Team Stradale behind the wheel of the No. 60 Radical SR3 XXR, D’Ambrose achieved those results while competing in just 14 of the season’s 18 races.

A Season of Strong Results
D’Ambrose opened the season at Sebring International Raceway with a three-race sweep, taking first place in all three races. After missing the Sonoma round, he returned at Road America and picked up where he left off with another three victories.

The strong results continued at Road Atlanta, where D’Ambrose added two victories and a second-place finish as the championship moved into the second half of the season.

At Lime Rock Park, he competed in two of the weekend’s three races, finishing second in both and adding two more podium finishes to an already strong year.

D’Ambrose also consistently showed speed in qualifying, earning 10 pole positions over the course of the season and regularly putting the No. 60 at the front of the Pro 1340 field.

Putting in the Work
The results on race weekends were backed by the work D’Ambrose continued to put in throughout the year.

Working with Team Stradale, he spent time at Autobahn Country Club practicing, developing his driving, and preparing for each round of the national championship. Between events, he also committed to regular simulator training to stay sharp and continue improving away from the track.

That commitment to training and preparation played an important role throughout the season, helping D’Ambrose consistently arrive ready to compete at the front.

A Memorable Weekend at Road America
Of all the accomplishments throughout the year, Road America provided one of the most memorable.

D’Ambrose competed alongside his son, Mike D’Ambrose Jr., with the pair finishing first and second in all three races. The weekend produced three consecutive father-son 1-2 finishes while competing in front of the INDYCAR crowd.

It was a rare accomplishment and a memorable addition to a weekend that already included three victories for D’Ambrose.

The season concluded at Circuit of the Americas, where things did not go as planned. Despite a difficult final weekend, D’Ambrose completed the year second in the Pro 1340 Championship, adding a runner-up championship finish to a season filled with victories, poles, and podiums.

By the Numbers

D’Ambrose’s 2026 campaign showed what can come from consistent preparation and a commitment to improving throughout the year. The hours spent training at Autobahn, working with Team Stradale, and staying sharp in the simulator translated into results across some of the country’s most challenging circuits.

Eight victories, 10 poles, and a runner-up championship finish made 2026 an impressive year for D’Ambrose on the national stage.
