4th Annual Young Driver Award

The Autobahn Driver Academy is pleased to be offering the 4rd Annual Young Drivers Award. This prestigious award offers the opportunity for one of Autobahn’s own to receive a full test day in a race car with instructor support.

Our Academy team will review all the applicants and help choose the best route. Cars available range from Miatas through GR86 Cup, Radical and even testing with our partner Exclusive Autosport. . Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, September 30th.

 Who is eligible:

  • Autobahn racerS 27 or under from karts or cars
  • Must be Member in good standing
  • Must be actively participating in the Autobahn Member Racing League with instruction from the Autobahn Driver Academy
  • Must complete application form with parents’ agreement for minors

 Judging Criteria

  • Sportsmanship
  • Race Craft
  • Performance
  • Coachability
  • Personality/Maturity
  • Potential- goals and ambitions

Panel

A group of 5 ACC staff from Operations and Instruction team will determine award winner based on above criteria.

Test Includes

  • 4 sessions on track
  • Utilize member track sessions as appropriate
  • Seat/Car fitting
  • Mutually agreed upon date
  • Private instructor for the day
  • Driving analysis
  • Video and data review when applicable
  • Minor set up change input
