Slip & Slide at Indy Doesn’t Stop Team Musial!

Aug 4, 2022 | Racing News

A packed weekend at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway was met by torrential downpour and hazardous conditions across the board. Musial Sr. took 3rd place in Saturday’s race with Musial Jr. taking to the podium again at #2. As the rain continued to pound the drivers on Sunday, Dave Jr. unfortunately spun in the start, and Musial Sr. spun out on the restart taking them both out of the race.

With their sights set on the next race in Sonoma the weekend of September 9th, Musial Jr. is still leading the championship by 6 points!

A big congratulation to Dave Jr., Dave Sr., and their team at Lake Forest Sports Car, Conquest Racing, and Musial Motorsports on their continued success. A special thank you to Tony Kester, our coach and mentor. Our success wouldn’t be possible without you!
