In the continuing effort to improve safety, the latest installment has been completed on our South Track. On the left hand side of the track between turns 5 and 6, 475 feet of conveyor belt has been connected to the existing tire wall per FIA standards. In particular situations, depending on the angle of impact, this belting decreases the likelihood of cars sticking into the tire wall and flipping or dramatically spinning in the air. We never rest when it comes to safety and will continue to look for the next areas of improvement.
