Jordan Missig and the No. 48 ABEL Motorsports team battled through a challenging Indianapolis Grand Prix weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, working through changing conditions and evolving car balance across both INDY NXT by Firestone races. After qualifying P14 for Race 1, rain impacted the opening event where Missig fought forward to a P11 finish. Race 2 saw Missig qualify P17 before making several on-track passes early in the race, ultimately finishing P16 after the balance shifted midway through the event.
“Indianapolis had its moments of brilliance but also moments of struggle,” said Missig. “The pace is there, and we’re going to keep working and figure things out before Detroit.” The IMS weekend also marked the announcement of new partnerships with BILLT PCs and ZOTAC GAMING, both featured on the No. 48 car throughout the event weekend as the team now shifts focus toward Detroit.
