VSCDA – Vintage sports car drivers Association – will honor Autobahn’s John Weinberger at Road America next weekend. Those of us who had the pleasure of knowing John remember his passion for automobiles and his influential career in the automotive industry. John’s indelible legacy is certainly still felt here at Autobahn, and also lives on in the Weinbergers Driven to Care Program, which awards scholarships to students pursuing careers in the automotive field.
Saturday, September 16, John will be honored at a banquet dinner at Road America. John’s wife and Autobahn-favorite, Lisa Weinberger, will be a speaker and she will present a race trophy. One of the race groups that weekend will be named after John, in this meaningful accolade to one of the best!
