We all accumulate things at the track. Fuel drums, old tires, furniture, and other items have a way of hanging around longer than we intended.
Recently, we’ve seen an increase in unwanted items being left around the property, particularly near dumpsters, garages, and other common areas. We need everyone’s help in correcting this.
Items brought onto the property are the responsibility of the member and must be properly disposed of or removed from the Club. Leaving an item next to a dumpster, outside a garage, or somewhere else on the property does not transfer that responsibility to Autobahn.
Our dumpsters are intended for normal Club operations and are not a disposal service for personal items. Please do not leave unwanted furniture, fuel drums, tires, or other materials in or around these areas.
We also continue to find used tires being left near our safety tire walls. While this may seem like a logical place for an old race tire, the tires used in our safety systems are selected and placed for that specific purpose. Used tires from your vehicle cannot be left at the tire walls and must be removed from the property.
The same applies to fuel drums. Empty or partially empty fuel drums cannot be left behind. These can be costly to properly dispose of, and that cost and responsibility belongs to the person who brought the drum onto the property, not the Club.
Unwanted furniture and other personal items also need to be removed. If you no longer have a use for something, please make arrangements for its proper disposal rather than leaving it for our staff to handle.
With hundreds of members, teams, shops, and guests using Autobahn, a few items left behind here and there quickly become a much larger problem.
We all take pride in the Club and want the property to reflect that. Please take a look around your garage and surrounding area. If you have items that need to be removed, we ask that you take care of them promptly.
And if you happen to recognize something in these photos, you already know where to start. Please make arrangements to remove it immediately.
