MOKENA, IL (MAY 21, 2026) – Evan Cooley turned heads throughout the ‘Month of May’ with a breakout stretch for Exclusive Autosport, collecting wins, podiums, and top-five finishes at three different venues in two countries over a three-week stretch. Evan started the month of May with two podium finishes and three top-five finishes in USF2000 during the Sonsio Grand Prix weekend on the road course at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
In true Cooley fashion, instead of taking the weekend off between the Indy GP and the Freedom 75 oval race at Indianapolis Raceway Park, the 19-year-old headed north of the border to compete in the Radical Cup Canada series at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, where he won the pole for both Race 1 and Race 2, before he charged to victory in Race 1 with an epic last-lap pass, while adding another podium finish in Race 2. Cooley carried that momentum on to Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, delivering a statement performance on the oval by earning the pole position and a new track record for the Freedom 75 before driving to his first-career USF2000 victory. The win also secured Exclusive Autosport’s first-ever Freedom 75 triumph in the process.
“Overall, the Month of May was a huge confidence boost for me and our entire Exclusive Autosport team,” enthused Cooley. “To come away with two podiums at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and then get my first USF2000 win in the Freedom 75 was really special. Winning on an oval for the first time and giving EA their first Freedom 75 victory is something I’ll never forget. It was also awesome to keep racing in between USF Pro Championships events by competing in Radical Cup Canada and coming away with a win and another podium there as well, racing with TWOth Autosport. Huge thanks to my engineer, Lou D’Agostino, and my mechanic, David Clubine, for giving me such a fast race car every time we hit the track. I also can’t thank Michael Duncalfe and Josh Cooley enough for believing in me and continuing to push me to improve every weekend. Most importantly, thank you to my family and all of my sponsors for their support throughout this journey. We’ve built some great momentum, but we know there’s still a lot of work to do, and we’re focused on continuing to fight for more podiums and wins as the season goes on.”
Coming off his first win in USF2000, Cooley has now climbed to third in the championship standings as the momentum continues to build for the young EA driver. Between his success at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, his standout weekend in the Radical Cup Canada series, and his breakthrough Freedom 75 victory, Cooley has quickly established himself as one of the top drivers on track this month. With confidence continuing to grow, Cooley and the Exclusive Autosport squad are focused on carrying that speed into the remainder of the season as they continue pushing for more podium finishes, race wins, and a charge toward the top of the championship battle.
