SEBRING, Fla.—Freedom Autosport is back in Florida this weekend for round two of the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Series. The team hopes to repeat the success of Daytona during Friday’s two-hour race at Sebring International Raceway.
The season opened on a high note for Freedom Autosport, with all three Mazda MX-5s finishing inside the top ten in the ST class at Daytona. Chad McCumbee and Stevan McAleer led the way with sixth in the No. 25 ModSpace/Premier Building Systems/Spartan Cargo Trailers Mazda MX-5. They were also the highest-finishing Freedom entry at Sebring last year, earning fourth.
