Autobahn Drivers Take Podiums & Championships @ 2022 SCCA Runoffs!

Oct 6, 2022 | Racing News

The SCCA Runoffs took place last weekend at Virginia International Raceway. As the culminating event of the SCCA racing season, the finishing position in the Runoffs race determines the finishing order of each championship class.

Notable Achievements of Autobahn Drivers:

For the second year in a row, Tom Herb is the SCCA National Champion in GT1. Tom had climbed from 5th position on the start to lead in the heavy rain at VIR. Tom’s patience behind the wheel and forward thinking in the rain earned him his second dominating GT1 championship title! Danny Bender scored a 2nd place finish in the GT-2 Class with Mark Boden behind him in 3rd place. Mark Boden also competed in the T1 Class where he finished 2nd in the championship.
