Jordan Missig and the #48 GR1P Abel Motorsports entry had a tough weekend at the Detroit Grand Prix, qualifying 20th after getting caught out by a red flag that disrupted his session. The race was a disciplined effort focused on keeping the car clean and working through the field and for most of the afternoon, that’s exactly what Missig delivered. A final restart reshuffled the order and cost him roughly five positions, ultimately bringing him home 15th. It wasn’t the result the team was looking for, but the lessons from Detroit go straight into the prep for the next round. Missig and the team head to St. Louis this weekend looking to put together a cleaner package from start to finish.
