What an incredible evening! This past Saturday night at Autobahn was magical. There was a chill in the air as members and guests gathered around to watch one of the largest kart races we’ve ever had. The racing was tight and the cheers were loud but when the checkered flag dropped, everyone headed over to the South 3 hill for s’mores and a “burning-man” style bonfire.
Out with the old and in with the new, as we lit the old kart start stand and boy did it burn! Roughly 50 people were in attendance as everyone stood back and watched the stand be engulfed in flames as the orange/red light danced across the faces of those that watched. It definitely was a night to remember and the campout was a complete success. In case you’re wondering, no we didn’t burn half of Joliet to the ground!
