It was a winning weekend this past weekend for IMC Logistics and Nitro Motorsports drivers (and Autobahn members) Ethan and Jackson Tovo as they took on the World Racing League (WRL) Finale at the famed Circuit of the Americas (COTA). The weekend featured a pair of wheel-to-wheel eight-hour endurance races, the Tovo boys climbed to the podium’s top step in wet and dry weather action alongside co-drivers Will Rodgers and Peter Portante.
“What a weekend,” explained Jackson Tovo. “We were not expecting much but wanted to close out the season with a fun, multi-driver event. After testing on Friday, which showed great speed, the goals and expectations for the weekend changed to see if we can fight for the podium.”
Ethan Tovo continued, “Saturday was crazy as the race started in the wet, and eventually was stopped due to heavy rain. We had to overcome a bad race start on Sunday but managed to come through in the end.”
