I’m selling my 2010 Cayman S GTB1 race car that I’ve owned and raced in PCA since 2014. Originally a Cayman Interseries car, it was purchased new from Napleton in 2010, and DE’d by its first owner. I bought it from Rick DeMan, who had taken it in trade.
I’ve developed and improved the car over the years, to include Brembo front brakes (the rotors on the car right now are brand new), AASCO racing clutch kit and lightweight flywheel, M&M wrapped exhaust system, M&M headers, aluminum doors, air jacks, lexan front and rear windows, Crawford rear wing from Bilt, Numeric shifter, fire system, AIM dash and SmartyCam. The car comes with four sets of wheels (2 sets OZ and 2 sets Formula 44), original JRZ shocks, rears re-valved.
Car has made some tire wall contact over its career, always professionally repaired, sheet metal damage only, nice graphic package. Maintained by Midwest Eurosport from the time I bought it; Brian Weathered and Tony Reyes know the car well. Even in my incompetent hands, this car is quick, 2:02 Daytona, 2:04 Watkins Glen, 2:22 Sebring, lots of time in there for a better shoe. You just can’t have more fun in a race car. With serious interest, may be possible to bring the car to Road America for inspection.
